Geneva County Middle School Curriculum and Instruction
The mission of the Curriculum and Instruction Department is to support excellent instruction in all classrooms from Pre-K through 12th grade. In support of our mission, we strive to provide dynamic, standards-aligned curriculum, deliver high-quality professional development, and collaborate with teachers to drive continuous improvement in student achievement. Our Curriculum and Instruction Department is focused on ensuring that every student, in every classroom, has access to engaging instruction and the opportunity to excel. The division of Curriculum and Instruction is focused on:
- The adoption of a 21st century curriculum that blends thinking and innovation skills; information, media; and life and creer skills in context of core academic subjects and across interdisciplinary themes, and employing methods of 21st century instruction that integrate innovative and research-proven teaching strategies, modern learning technologies and real world resources and contexts
